Creating Your Account

  1. Visit rackmanage.io and click on the "Sign Up" button

  2. Enter your email address and create a password, or login with an existing Google, Microsoft, or GitHub account.

  3. Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox

  4. Complete your profile information

  5. Choose your subscription plan (Free, Basic, or Plus)

Navigating the Dashboard

After logging in, you'll be directed to your dashboard, which serves as your central hub for all Rack Manage activities. The main navigation includes:

  • Dashboard: Overview of your racks, rooms, and usage

  • Racks: Create and manage your rack designs

  • Rooms: Design and organize your floor plans (Basic and Plus plans)

  • Inventory: Track your equipment details (Plus plan only)

  • Settings: Configure your account preferences, API access, teams, and more.

Setting User Preferences

Rack Manage allows you to customize your experience through several preference settings:

  1. Dark Mode: Toggle between light and dark interface themes

  2. Display Mode: Choose between table and card views for your rack and room listings

  3. Numbering: Enable or disable rack unit numbering

  4. Numbering Direction: Set ascending (ASC) or descending (DESC) unit numbers

  5. Name Overlay: Configure how equipment names appear on rack designs

To access these settings, click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select "Preferences."
